I think Microsoft has finally acheived making a stable, reliable, system that you don't use subconsciencely waiting until it freezes or errors. I really hate saying that viewing all systems and hardware is different, so i'm speaking from a Dell Inspiron 8000 point of view. It's levels above Windows ME, and in my opinion, the best yet. Windows XP comes with the most drastic upgrade in interface yet, beautiful slick layout and navigatational effects and more. XP also focuses heavily on entertainment based features such as DVD and CD-RW support, and has gotten rid of a lot of nagging irrelevant features like displaying your last visited files in a Documents menu. All in all, this one is great.
